My name is Colin Cooper and I am a graduating goaltender from Mount Royal University in the Canada West Division of Sports. I have played four seasons at MRU where I was named to the Canada West All-rookie team and also won the Brian Fleming community service award.
Before Playing at MRU, I was a member of the Calgary Canucks in the AJHL. In 3 seasons, I started over 130 games. I grew as a goaltender and as a player throughout my junior career.
I serve as the Emergency Back Up goaltender for the Calgary Flames (NHL) and this I was able to skate with the injured players or the team every week. This has helped my game develop in huge ways and feel it definitely made me a better goalie. I love the game of hockey and playing with these pros made me want to pursue my career overseas. I look forward to hearing more and discussing a potential future with your team.
I have a high level of compete and I give 100% in every ice time, workout, practice and game. I take pride in being the hardest worker on the ice at all times and I would love to bring that work ethic to your team.
